Myron Simpson joined James Group after nearly 15 years in high-performance sports. As a professional athlete for Cycling New Zealand, he competed in prestigious events such as World Cups, World Championships, and the Commonwealth Games. His athletic career equipped him with the ability to excel under pressure. Transitioning from competition, Myron ran a development program in Auckland and was part of the coaching team for New Zealand’s Tokyo Olympic Games squad. Since retiring from the bike, Myron ventured into the commercial fit-out industry, focusing primarily on the medical sector. His experience in this field has equipped him with valuable knowledge and skills for commercial and industrial real estate.
With a deep-rooted connection to the East and South Auckland regions where he grew up and spent considerable time, Myron has partnered with Jordan Palmer and Scott Buswell to oversee Auckland Airport in the Manukau, Mangere, and Wiri areas.
Outside of real estate, Myron enjoys all and any kind of sport with a particular interest in golf and fishing, and spending time with his three daughters and wife.
